According to a report by g1, the incident happened near San Diego airport in California, involving a Boeing 737 that had departed from San Francisco. The collision was confirmed by the airline.
The aircraft had 48 passengers and 6 crew members on board, according to United. Despite the incident, the landing took place normally.
